BAGUIO CITY — Police arrested one of the co-accused of former Sen. Ramon “Bong” Revilla Jr. in a graft case involving an alleged anomalous flood control project early Tuesday.

The Philippine National Police–Criminal Investigation and Detection Group (PNP-CIDG) said Christina Mae del Rosario Pineda, 38, a cashier at the Department of Public Works and Highways (DPWH) Bulacan First District Engineering Office, was apprehended at 12:40 a.m. along Halsema Highway in Barangay Bangao, Buguias town, Benguet.
According to CIDG officials, Pineda was visiting Mountain Province at the time of her arrest. 

She was immediately turned over to the CIDG Mountain Province Provincial Field Unit and transported to Region 3 at around 5 a.m. the same day.

The arrest was carried out following the issuance of a warrant by the Sandiganbayan Third Division on Monday.  The CIDG national office coordinated with CIDG Cordillera for the arrest and subsequent transfer of the suspect.
